Quads

Note: Due to insurance restrictions, quads are no longer allowed on any BORR rides. Sorry for any inconvenience to our quad-riding friends.
B.A.S. has a large and active dirt bike group.  We ride nearly every month at epic areas like Foresthill, Georgetown, Stonyford and more.   The highlights of each year are our weekend-long trips to Moon Rocks and Yerington, both in Nevada.

Stonyford Ride Report

If you missed this ride on November 15th you may have missed the best ride of the year. We had about 40 riders attend the event. We had riders of every skill level. The weather was perfect. The conditions were excellent. Our group rode right up until darkness set in. For all of those that made the ride - we hope you had a good time. For all of you that missed the ride... Maybe next time.

Membership Required to Ride - Help us fund our Insurance

BAS membership is now required for all rides. Requested donation is $5-10 per person to help cover BAS's $9/rider cost of insurance. See more info on BAS membership by clicking here

River Front Park Motocross Track Day - Thanks Roseville Yamaha - WOW!!!

A huge THANK YOU goes out to our incredibly generous sponsor, Roseville Yamaha, for hosting the Track Day at Riverfront Park in Marysville! Not only did they reserve the beautifully groomed track for our private use at no cost to us--they even fed us, and provided us with free beverages! Plus, they had several demo bikes available for folks to enjoy riding. About 60 – 70 riders showed up, including a handful of quads, for a welcome change. Thanks also to Thor and Monster Energy Drinks, who offered us free goggle rentals and free Monster Energy Drinks.  Click here for photos.

Let’s all show our appreciation by patronizing our generous sponsors whenever we get the chance.

Gear Donations Needed

The Bayside Adventure Sports dirt bike team would love to help new riders learn how to ride and to give opportunities for under-privileged kids to throw their legs over a bike.  To make this possible we need your help.

We are asking for donations of good used gear (mainly boots, helmets, chest protectors) for use in future events. We are also going to be soliciting donations of used bikes from 50cc up to 200cc for use as training cycles for future events. Bayside Adventure Sports is a fully legal non-profit organization so you can use the donations as a tax deduction where appropriate.   Contact Paul Schiess if you have it in your heart and in your garage to make a donation.
