Here is the new BAS Fishing team:

• Brad Smith is a local bass angler who loves to fish and help others. He a very familiar with our local lakes.

• Cal Kellogg is the Associate Editor of Fish Sniffer Magazine and is one of the foremost experts on fishing in this region.

• Dave Pringle is a tournament bass angler who has fished at both amateur and professional levels. He also shares 15 years of fly-fishing experience in this region.

• Dr. Colin J. Kageyama, O.D., FCOVD is ranked as “one of the most successful steelhead fishermen in the Northwest”. Dr. K is an author and writer who loves to help anglers catch steelhead. He is also a former lure designer for Mepps and Mister Twister.

• Frank Seifert is the owner of Off the Hook Fly Shop.  He is a highly skilled water (lakes and ponds) angler and expert on rigging and local waters.

• Lowell Hackney is a local pro and our B.A.S. Tournament Director and true expert on various bass fishing methods.

• Mark Fong is a regional bass pro with years of experience on local lakes. He is a methodical angler who provides helpful insights on the technical aspects of fishing.

• Michael LaBrae' is an experienced fly fisherman who has worked, guided and taught classes in some of the hottest fishing areas in the U.S.

• Paul Parks started fishing team tournaments 10 years ago. He is a highly skilled bass angler and self-professed fishaholic who is very familiar with our local lakes.

• Rod Abbott is a local guide and expert on our local rivers; the American, Sac, Feather, and Yuba rivers who effectively uses a wide variety of methods for fly fishing.

• Russ Graves is one of the top swim bait anglers on the west coast with a long list of top finishes in western bass tournaments.  He is also a three time angler of the year.

• Steve Eason is a long time tournament bass angler who has fished our local waters for many years.  He is a great guy and expert on local methods and hot spots.

• Tim Dodson is a tournament bass angler who fishes both regional and national tournaments.  He is a true gentleman of the sport who enjoys helping others catch fish.
