Summary The trips
for 2009 can be classed into three broad categories. 1.
First, Sunday Strolls that will be short, generally
local, family oriented hikes following the 9:45 AM Bayside Services. 2.
Second, 1 and 2 boot hikes. These are hikes that will likely challenge
someone on a regular walking schedule. 3.
Third, Challenge Hikes.
These are the 3 and 4 boot hikes, many of which will be prerequisites
for attending our high adventure summits (ie. One of the
goals of the Hiking Division is to encourage a healthy lifestyle through
walking. If you are regularly walking
20 to 30 minutes per day you will be well on your way to participating in our
1 and 2 boot hikes. Only you and your
physician can determine if you have the required physical fitness for these
