Erik Allen grew up locally in the Auburn area, developing a firsthand appreciation for the surrounding outdoors. He Became at Christian at age 21while serving in the US Navy. After the Navy he attended Appalachian Bible College receiving a degree in Theology and Camping Ministries.
Erik is a multi-sport athlete who enjoys all outdoor activities from recreational mountain biking to class 5 whitewater kayaking. His love for adventure is matched with awareness for safety. He is trained as a Wilderness First Responder and Swift Water Rescue Technician.
Erik has been serving in Christian Camping Ministries as an Adventure Guide for the past 15 years. He is married to Katie, together they have 2 boys, Canyon and Cru. As a family they enjoy playing outside, riding bikes, and numerous other family adventures.
