Fly Tying Class Series
February 28, March 7, & March 14
In the last couple of years, our fly fishing division has really gathered traction! Due to popular demand, we are offering this basic fly trying class. This class is designed for those who want to take their fly fishing to the next level. By tying your own flies, by default, one learns the basics of entomology which anglers to identify what insects are active in real time when fishing. This greatly enhances the chances of a successful day of fishing!
We will cover the basics of fly tying. This three-session class will cover two flies per session with hands on instruction and encouragement. By the end of the third session, tyers will have a general command of the skill to tie six of the basic and time tested flies.
