How do I register or RSVP for an event?

We use a couple of different tools for our event registration. Our master event calendar is hosted on Meetup. This gives you the ability to see all the events and have running conversations and update on each event through the comments section. You can easily RSVP for our free events on the Meetup site (desktop, mobile, or app). For our trips that have registration fees, there will be a link in the Meetup description or on our main website on how to register and pay. Please be sure to always read the full description of each event on the Meetup page to be sure you aren’t missing some important instructions. 

Instructions on how to use Meetup can be found here. Your Meetup profile is not managed by BAS - you will need to set it up and then join the Bayside Adventure Sports - G1Outdoors group. You can manage your account and set up preference within your profile for all of Meetup. There are many tips in the Meetup Help Center that will help you navigate - but feel free if you still have questions to contact Pam.

WHY IS THERE A MEMBERSHIP FEE?

Although a ministry of Bayside Church, we are a separate 501c3 non-profit organization. We are self-funded through memberships, donations, and event fees. Memberships help us keep many events free and allows for membership perks! (See our Membership page for details)

IS MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED FOR ALL EVENTS?

Membership is required to participate in all our free day-events. This helps offset our overhead and allows us to keep these events free. Those new to BAS can sign up for a 1-month trial membership to check out the free events. For our bigger trips that have registration fees, many times membership isn't required, but members do get discount pricing and priority registration.
