Why Does BAS have a Shooting Division?
• Provide a positive family experience.
• Promote safe and ethical use of firearms
• Teach principals of hunting and archery.
• Firearm education reduces gun accidents.
• Promotes a total family involvement in a healthy
sport.
• Shooting sports are just one more way to develop
kids into capable, competent, productive, caring
citizens
• To teach Biblical Life skills, not just shooting skills

3 Areas of Focus: Pistols, Rifles, & Shotguns
Within each focus there will be regularly scheduled
opportunities for both education and shooting.

• All instructors accept and abide by the Code of Ethics
• Leaders have a written risk management plan
• Leaders cultivate a positive, safe shooting environment
• Leaders utilize God’s Principals of right and wrong, good
and evil in our shooters
• Leaders leave a POSITIVE influence on our youth and
families
• Leaders communicate a POSITIVE message about
stewardship of God’s Creation, hunting and shooting as a hobby and sport
