Moms & Kids Camping Trip

Enjoy camping trip for Moms with Kids at the beautiful Sugar Pine State Park in Tahoe!
Moms get ready to enjoy an amazing weekend outdoors with your kids. Come prepared to relax in your favorite camping chair or tree-hammock. This trip is yours! You can swim, bike, hike, take naps, bring crafts…whatever you want to do to enjoy the outdoors and have fun with your kids and some new and old friends. We’ll set up at a nearby beach for the day on Saturday, and offer ideas for local hikes for anyone who is interested. Sugar Pine Point State Park is great for biking, rollerblading, scootering…whatever. Bring your wheels! This is an opportunity to create an amazing family memory with your kids outdoors. TIME: Arrive beginning at 2pm on Friday, depart by noon on Sunday COST: Premium Members: $60/adult; $35/youth Non-Members: $70/adult; $40/youth Ages 4 and under free $5/vehicle (RVs/Trailers count as 2) Included: •We have a group site in Sugar Pine State Park •Group Campfire every evening with Desserts •Daily Devotionals with BAS Staff •Optional activities that are family friendly |

What to bring: • Camping gear (tent, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, cooking gear, quarters for showers, etc.) • Check the weather - sometimes the evenings can be cool • Toys! (Bikes, Kayaks, SUP's, water floats etc.) Rentals may be available at the marina. At least one paddle board will be available for sharing. • To keep this trip simple and inexpensive, all meals will be on your own. But it’s always fun to coordinate with other families on meals! Regular Weekend Camping Schedule
WEEKEND CAMPING SCHEDULE:
Your time is your own on this camping trip. The BAS Staff will be offering a few special opportunities each day, including time to get to know one
another and a devotional around the campfire Friday & Saturday. We’ll also have desserts around the campfire both nights. You can download a
suggested packing list below under "Tahoe Resources".
FRIDAY – ARRIVAL DAY:
2-8pm - Please do not arrive prior to 2pm as the trip leaders need to set up and prepare for the guests. Starting at 2pm people are arriving at our
campsites, setting up tents, getting to know the campground. Did you bring bicycles? Get on them and go for a ride!
5:30-7pm - Preparing and eating dinner. Guests are responsible for their own food on this trip. Plan easy, delicious meals that can be prepared in a short amount of time. Many bring dinner with them for Friday Night, which saves time cooking that meal.
7-9pm - Campfire Time, Meet everyone else, Devotional, games available and special S’Mores at the Campfire!
10pm - Quiet time at the campground. Stay up later if you wish, but the Park rules are to keep it quiet enough for others to sleep.
SATURDAY – A GORGEOUS DAY TO EXPLORE OR RELAX!
6-9am - Waking up, coffee available, make some breakfast!
10:00 – 4:30pm Optional Activities TBA
5:30-7pm - Preparing and eating dinner
7-9pm - Campfire time, meet everyone else, games and dessert, and special Dough Boys for dessert! We can’t wait to hear about your day!
10pm - Quiet time at the campground.
SUNDAY – DEPARTURE DAY
6-10am - Waking up, coffee available, make some breakfast!
8am-noon – Pack up for being out of the campsite by noon, but your Parking Pass is good for all State Parks for the whole day, so why not enjoy the Lake Tahoe area! It will be hot back in Sacramento…enjoy the cool of the mountains!
