" I have to say I didn’t really have any expectations for this and to be honest I even second-guessed my decision signing up my kids for this. That being said, I was super impressed with the quality and the amount of volunteers that were there and helping out. My daughter had never really rode before, and by the end of the day she was Loving it! My son, who did not want to go, had an amazing time and grew leaps and bounds in confidence. The one-on-one training was exactly what my kids needed. I could have done it, but there’s something about learning from someone other than your parents when you get to their age, and I feel it was money well spent. All the volunteers were super encouraging. At one point they were clapping for my daughter, who, it made it around the turn on her own, and it was really neat to see these men give up their time on a Saturday to help people learn how to ride bikes. We serve an amazing God and I’m thankful for Bayside Adventure Sports..... highly recommend this !!"

Anyone can do this hike (and enjoy themselves the whole time) if they follow your advice!! I can't believe how much "fun" I had!!"

Whether it be on adventure trips or weekly Bike in Bible this ministry is making a big impact on attracting and attaching people to Jesus.   Our family has been incredibly blessed by the fellowship and community of BAS over the past 10 years and my three sons have been adamant about not missing our annual trip to Yosemite with BAS.  Most importantly I believe that BAS is leaving a legacy for future generations as it is quite clear that the youth who participate with BAS have benefited greatly by seeing Godly men and women act out their faith in the beauty of God’s creation."

"I haven't been on my bike in 5 yrs, only rode about 4 times and never really new how to use it properly. Consequently, I had trouble even inflating my tires and was late. I am so thankful for Jim, Debbie & Jason who were incredibly patient, caring, generous and very helpful with me and Kathleen. You trained us on the basics of bikes, adjusted them for a better ride, showed us how to effectively use the gears, & instructed use in bike safety lingo & tips for road. You even adjusted the bike route for us! You just went above & beyond! I know you didn't anticipate having such rusty beginners on your hands, but I truly appreciate how you made us feel comfortable. The day was beautiful, the company wonderful & the ride was great. Kathleen & I are now motivated to ride regularly so, during the next outing, we can go faster & farther!"

"For any beginners who are wondering if this is for you... before we left the parking lot, Jim pumped up my tires and kindly informed me my front tire was on backward and fixed it. Very early into the ride I was having trouble shifting gears and my chain came off. Rowland fixed my chain and Debbie took me into a parking lot for a lesson and practice shifting gears. All throughout the ride, Jason, Jim and Debbie gave me encouragement, telling me how great I was doing, checking if I needed a break, telling me when to shift gears, pointing out obstacles. Jason and Matthew prayed over our ride. Matthew rode in the back to make sure no one got left behind and took photos for us, I felt very safe and comfortable with this group. I made 5 new friends!"
